Real Madrid players issue ultimatum to Florentino Perez: us or Mourinho
The Spanish Real Madrid trio of captain and goalkeeper, Iker Casillas, defender Sergio Ramos and defensive midfielder, Xabi Alonso reportedly had a meeting with club president, Florentino Perez, stating that he either make a choice between them or Mourinho this summer.
In an exclusive report by Spanish sports daily, Marca, the shocking cover story illustrates the meeting between the players and the president, demanding that Mourinho be dismissed this summer, or they will request transfers and leave the club.
The lunch meeting began with Perez meeting the two senior members, Ramos and Casillas with general manager, Jose Angel Sanchez over the state of the club and the team’s progress, before it eventually turned to the Spanish International’s warning the higher-ups of the aforementioned ultimatum.
