Gallup: Presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan to receive 66% of votes
“According to the results of the survey held on January 15-23 at the upcoming presidential elections presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan will get 66% of votes, Raffi Hovannisian will get 10% Paruyr Hayrikyan and Hrant Bagratyan will receive 4% each, Aram Harutyunyan 1%, Andrias Ghukasyan, Arman Melikyan, Vardan Sedrakyan do not reach the threshold of 1%. The 16% of the respondents has not yet decided which of the candidates they will support. The number of participants of in this round will make 61%.”
These data were published in the press conference held today. The results of the second survey held by Gallup organization, Armenian Sociological association and Armnews were summed up today at the press conference.
The second survey based on the public opinion was implemented from January 15 to 23. 1020 people from all the regions of Armenia took part in the survey. The results of the survey were presented by Rasa Alishauskene, the Gallup Organization representative.
