Zhoghovurd: Author of law on restoration of Gyumri has no relationship with Gyumri
MP from Prosperous Armenia Party Aragats Akhoyan is the author of the bill on making amendments to the law on the restoration of the city of Gyumri, Zhoghovurd reports. It is noteworthy that Aragats Akhoyan was born in Aragatsotn region and has no relationship with Gyumri.
When asked why he authored the bill, the MP said, “I am the co-author of the bill. As the other author, Mr Balasanyan, became Mayor, I decided myself to push the bill forward in the parliament.”
The paper says that the bill has not yet been included in the parliament’s agenda and has been postponed for one year.
