Police worked effectively last year, says Artsakh leader
On 4 February, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan attended the reporting meeting of the police board summarizing the results of the 2012 operational activities.
Police chief Robert Shaferyan and responsible representatives of the structure delivered corresponding reports.
During the period under review, police worked effectively, recording positive developments, Bako Sahakyan said.
At the same time, the President noted, there is still much to be done for the continuous improvement of the police work effectiveness.
President Sahakyan underlined that the current potential of the system and the recorded positive results will leave a ground to expect that the police can implement its activities successfully, adding that the country’s authorities will undertake necessary measures in order to improve social and working conditions of the structure’s staff, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
