Serzh Sargsyan meets with voters in Masis
Presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan visited the city of Masis in Ararat region as part of his election campaign.
Serzh Sargsyan started his speech with a reference to the shooting of presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan.
“We continue our campaign, and we are pleased to see our colleague recovering so quickly, despite the terrible crime which I think was aimed not only against Hayrikyan, but also against our statehood and progress,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
“As a society, we have to be very strong and united. This is not a moral lecture. We have to be strong and united to be able to resist the trials. What happened to Paruyr Hayrikyan was indeed a trial, but I am confident that after overcoming it, we will be even more united and experienced,” Serzh Sargsyan added.
Speaking about the problems faced by Masis, Serzh Sargsyan said, “My program is for every community and every individual in our state, and we do not talk about something unrealizable. We talk about what is on the mind of each of us, and what concerns everyone.”
The candidate added that he gives much importance to ensuring the right of education for all citizens, pension reforms, creation of new jobs as well as agricultural assistance programs.
