Zhamanak: Samvel Alexanyan avoids questions about Carrefour
“I am not doing business, my dear,” Republican MP Samvel Alexanyan told Zhamanak’s correspondent on Tuesday, when asked whether he made active efforts to prevent French Carrefour hypermarket chain from entering Armenian market. The member of RPA parliamentary faction, who is a major importer of first necessity goods, also tried to avoid other questions of Zhamanak.
Zhamanak reminds that Russia-based businessman Samvel Karapetyan, owner of Dalma Garden Mall, has suspended the contract with the French Carrefour hypermarket chain and that Samvel Alexanyan exerted much efforts to achieve it.
