VivaCell-MTS tax payment in 2012 exceeded the 2011 record by 22 percent, company’s press service reported. 

Telecommunications Operator VivaCell-MTS (K-Telecom) ranks third in the Top Taxpayers List of 2012, with AMD 21,672,938,130 (AMD 21.7 billion).

Although in 2011 VivaCell-MTS also was the third, with the overall tax payments totaling 17,751,611,850 (AMD 17.7 billion), in 2012 VivaCell-MTS exceeded the 2011 record by 22 percent.

The growth is mostly conditioned by increased volume of direct taxes (profit and income taxes).

Overall, starting 2005 when VivaCell-MTS entered the market, the Company has paid AMD 126,944,110,870 (AMD 126.9 billion).
