168 Zham: Action was aimed against Serzh Sargsyan
Leader of National Security party, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan’s former permanent representative in parliament, Garnik Isagulyan commented on Hayrikyan shooting in an interview with 168 Zham.
“I think we should not comment on this phenomenon but should establish the fact that one of Armenian presidential candidates was shot,” Isagulyan said. “Regardless of the motive, Paruyr Hayrikyan – the object of the action – was affected by the action, which was aimed against a concrete person, the subject of the action, incumbent President, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan.”
