Armenian Health Minister urges Andrias Ghukasyan to undergo medical check-up
The Armenian Health Minister today visited presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan who is on an indefinite hunger strike. Derenik Dumanyan urged the hunger striker to undergo a medical check-up, explaining how dangerous hunger strike is for health.
Andrias Ghukasyan thanked the Minister for visiting him, saying that by evening he will have made a decision on whether or not to have a medical check-up.
By order of the Health Minister Ghukasyan is under permanent medical surveillance, with an ambulance team based in front of the National Academy of Sciences building where the hunger striker’s tent is located.
