Armenian National Congress party to be established
The founding convention of the Armenian National Congress party will take place on March 22 at the government’s session hall, head of the Armenian National Congress parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
The initiative group, formed on the basis of Armenian National Congress, includes the following people: first Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Levon Zurabyan, Vahan Varderesyan, David Matevosyan, Avetis Avagyan, Vahagn Khachatryan, Ashot Sargsyan, Arman Musinyan, Vardan Malkhasyan, Vladimir Karapetyan, Avetis Poghosyan, Arshak Banuchyan, Anahit Yeghoyan, Armen Ohanyan, Arman Grigoryan, Karine Davoyan, Tatul Saroyan, Hovhannes Kiramijyan, Karen Tovmasyan, Arshak Musakhanyan, Areg Gevorgyan, Eva Adamyan, Yelena Nalbandyan, David Hovhannisyan as well as Armenian National Movement (ANM) vice chairman Samvel Abrahamyan.
On February 7, the initiative group sent a notification to the Armenian Ministry of Justice on the registration of a new party, Zurabyan added.
