Hayrikyan to Hovannisian and Bagratyan: If I demand to postpone elections for 14 days we can put up common candidate
Six hours ago, presidential candidate, National Self-Determination Union leader Paruyr Hayrikyan addressed a letter to Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan on his Facebook page.
The letter reads in part: “I learnt from media reports that there had been a desire to form a united team…but it was not fulfilled. All my calls remained unanswered. Both Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan were busy.
However, if I demand to postpone the elections for 14 days, we can put up a common candidate, sum up our programs and meet with voters together for 10 days. In this case, together we will score not 70 percent but even 80 percent of the votes.
Dear Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan,
We will either achieve results together or be defeated separately.
I am addressing the people: we have only 30 hours to mobilize our resources. Please explain to Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan that this is the last chance for each of us to achieve success. Those who are going to vote for me do not need this explanation. They are ready…”
