Secret witness gives evidence in Dink case
A secret witness testified before Istanbul's Heavy Juvenile Criminal Court that tried the case of Ogun Samast, which is expected to change the course of the trial, Turkish newspaper Birgün reported.
The witness said that Dink’s assassination had been committed by an organized criminal group and gave details about it. The testimony was sent to Specially Authorized Istanbul Prosecutor Muammer Akkas.
Hakan Bakirci, one of the Dink family's lawyers, confirmed that there was such testimony, saying, “No statement is made about it, with the security of the secret witness being in question. But I confirm that the court has half-page testimony and five-page letter given by the secret witness.”
