Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian meets with Georgian counterpart
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia met in Tbilisi on Monday. During the meeting, Edward Nalbandian and Maia Panjikidze continued the dialogue aimed at strengthening and expanding the bilateral relations, launched in Yerevan one month ago, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
The Armenian and Georgian Foreign Ministers thoroughly discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the January meeting between Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili as well as the Prime Ministers of the two countries.
The two Ministers dwelt on a number of issues on the Armenian-Georgian agenda as well as the joint measures aimed at their solution. Edward Nalbandian and Maia Panjikidze gave importance to the preservation of the recently formed tradition of periodical meetings between the two Foreign Ministers.
