Zhoghovurd: Stepan Demirchyan does not want to dissolve PPA
Armenian National Congress leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan and People’s Party of Armenia (PPA) leader Stepan Demirchyan met again seven days later, on Sunday, as they had agreed during their last meeting, Zhoghovurd reports. The paper’s well-informed sources say they again discussed the idea of turning ANC into a party, which is not acceptable to Stepan Demirchyan. He said he did not want to dissolve PPA, while Levon Ter-Petrosyan explained that he would not have to abandon the party and he could just cooperate with the newly established ANC, which will be saved only by becoming a party because non-partisans will unite.
