Bako Sahakyan meets Artsakh-born philanthropists residing in Russia
On February 13, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received a group of philanthropists from the Russian Federation born in the village of Vaghuhas.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the philanthropists for consistent support shown to the homeland, adding that the work carried out by them contributes to the development of the Vaghuhas village and the Martakert region in socioeconomic, cultural and spiritual aspects.
Issues related to the implementation of a range of new programs were also discussed during the meeting.
Head of the Martakert regional administration Vladik Khachatryan, confessor of Vaghuhas St. Virgin Mary church Father Hovhannes Hovhannisyan attended the meeting, Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
