Zhoghovurd: ARF member to try not to be opposition
Mayor of the village of Ushi, Aragatsotn region, Hombert Atayan, told Zhoghovurd daily that among the presidential candidates, only Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan had visited their village to meet with voters.
“I have been an oppositionist for 22 years. I am a member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and I am going to vote for Serzh Sargsyan…We have always been oppositionists, but now we will try not to be such.”
The paper reminds that ARF has not nominated a presidential candidate and has decided not to back any candidate.
