Raffi Hovannisian: People will win first round of elections
Armenia has changed in an indescribable way during these 25 days. The Armenian people have decided that these elections are not so much a struggle of individuals - Serzh, Raffi – or a struggle of parties but are rather the right of an Armenian to have Armenia, presidential candidate, leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian told a news conference in Yerevan.
“I am sure that the people will win the first round, and that we will have new presidency,” Hovannisian said.
The candidate said that his next meeting with the media would be on February 19 at 17:00 in Liberty Square, where he would announce his future plans, if he lost the elections. Nevertheless, he said, he was confident that the people were moving towards a new situation, and that the people would win the first round of the elections.
