Serzh Sargsyan’s victory is beyond any doubt, says Alexander Iskandaryan
The victory of incumbent President, leader of Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is beyond any doubt, director of Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference today.
There would possibly have been a run-off if Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan had run in the elections, Iskandaryan said.
According to him, the presidential candidates may be divided into two groups: Raffi Hovannisian and Hrant Bagratyan, who “have parties as well as people who assisted them during the campaign” and “have certain financial resources”, and the remaining candidates who do not have it.
