168 Zham: Gagik Tsarukyan may become Mayor of Yerevan
Prosperous Armenia Party may reunite with the ruling coalition following the presidential elections, 168 Zham reports. According to the paper’s sources, PAP will receive not ministerial portfolios but the position of Yerevan Mayor. If PAP wins the Council of Elders elections, it will also receive the position of Mayor of Gyumri, Ijevan, Sisian and Abovyan, which is a bigger political influence than half of the cabinet positions. It is not ruled out that PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan will be on top of the party’s list in the elections.
