Ceiling at one of Baku’s schools collapsed over first-graders
The ceiling of the classroom in N193 School at Narimanov’s region in Baku has collapsed over the first-graders heads. Some of them have received light injuries. In the interview given to ANS TV channel the parents of the journalists have told that it was expected that the ceiling would collapse as the school is completely in dangerous condition.
Faktxeber.com reports that the pupils of Russian department were having classes in the collapsed classroom. The parents of the pupils have stated that they will not send their children to school if the school is not repaired completely.
The site notes that the ceiling of the room of the school director has also partially collapsed. Rahim Huseynov, the director of the school has told that the building that has been built at the beginning of 20s of last century needs to be repaired.
Before the building has been a hostel, it has been used as a hospital during the war time and then it has turned into a secondary school.
The site also notes that the Azerbaijani authorities speak about Azerbaijan the economy of which develops, however they are not able to repair even a school.
