Armenian military leadership visits Victory Park
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko, high-ranking officers of Armenian and Russian Armed Forces, servicemen, representatives of diplomatic missions visited Victory Park in Yerevan on Saturday, February 23, on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The delegation laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, paying tribute to those who fell defending the fatherland.
The event was concluded by a solemn march of Armenian and Russian servicemen, Armenian Defense Ministry’s press service said.
