Aram Sargsyan: DPA cannot back Raffi Hovannisian
The Democratic Party of Armenia cannot back Raffi Hovannisian for several reasons and first of all because as interviews show, he wants to change the vector of foreign policy, which will affect national security, DPA leader Aram G. Sargsyan told a news conference today.
According to him, most of the people who voted for Raffi Hovannisian are just discontent with the current government.
Aram Sargsyan characterized Raffi Hovannisian as an experienced and at the same time inexperienced politician. “He is inexperienced because he has not been in such situations and does not know how to prepare for them, and he is experienced because he has been in politics for 20 years.”
DPA has not yet issued a statement on the presidential election in Armenia and is waiting until the Central Electoral Commission releases the final election results.
