Armenian parliamentary factions working out joint statement on post-election situation
Heritage, ARF Dashnaktsutyun and RPA parliamentary factions are working out a joint statement in order to discuss the post-election situation in the parliament. If an agreement is reached, an extraordinary session will be called in the National Assembly, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan told a news conference today.
“I proposed organizing a parliamentary discussion on post-election processes and my colleagues from Heritage and ARFD agreed. Currently we are working out a joint statement – how we imagine the discussion. We are thinking of holding an extraordinary session and adopting a statement. It will be better if we have a common position, but if not, the processes will go on,” the parliament speaker said.
