President of German Bundestag to pay official visit to Armenia
At the invitation of Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, German Bundestag President Norbert Lammert will arrive for a three-day official visit to Armenia on March 5, Armenian parliament’s press service said.
Norbert Lammert will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. He will also have other meetings in Armenian parliament.
During his visit, the German Bundestag President will give a lecture at YSU Center for European Studies.
Further, the German delegation will visit Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.
