New large scale program: Oranges says “Merci” to its customers
Orange announced today the launch of “Orange Merci” new loyalty program. Starting today Orange customers will be rewarded for their permanent and active use of the services provided by the company as well as simply for being a loyal customer. The large-scale Orange Merci program launched today is the expression of the special attention and care towards Orange voice customers, company’s press service said.
Starting March 5th, customers of Orange Let’s Talk Simple, My Friends, My Country, My Time and My Numbers will receive Orange Merci points every time when recharging the account with at their choice 500 or 1000 AMD or more. Moreover, Orange will reward all its prepaid customers not only for active use, but also simply for being and staying an Orange customer. After having used Orange services for 6 months, customers of prepaid tariff plans will get 100 points and, following this, another 100 points every 3 months. These points will be allocated to customers’ accounts in the beginning of the month following each quarter, i.e. April, July, October and January. For that, customers just need to have consumed 1500AMD during the given quarter. Those current prepaid customers, who at the end of March will have been with Orange for at least 6 months, will get on April 2 their first 100 “Merci” points as a welcome gift.
All customers will be able to use these points to acquire free on-net and off-net minutes and SMSs, or free megabytes. In addition to these possibilities, prepaid customers will be able to use their Orange Merci points to call Orange customers for free on weekends.
Customers of Dolphin, Panther, Butterfly and Lion monthly subscriptions will also be rewarded. They will get Orange Merci points which will equal to 5% of the amount used on top of the monthly fee. On March 7, these customers will receive 200 Orange Merci points, as a welcome gift into the new program.
Francis Gelibter, Orange Armenia CEO, noted: “The Orange Merci program reflects our special care and attention towards our customers. Starting from now, every customer who will join our big family will know that he/she will be regularly rewarded not only for its recharges and use of our services but just for being an Orange customer. Moreover, this program is the only one in the Armenian telecommunication market allowing customers to get off-net minutes against accumulated points.”
Aram Mkrtchyan, Orange Armenia Marketing Director, said: “Orange Merci, as we have conceived it, is a completely new word in Armenia. It’s not a simple accumulation of bonus points, but a long-term and regular reward program for loyalty and for active use of our services, a program where a lot of new surprises will still come.”
