German Bundestag President highly appreciates service of Armenian peacekeepers in Afghanistan
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met today, March 6, with visiting German Bundestag President Norbert Lammert, Armenian Foreign Ministry said.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the current high level of Armenian-German relations.
Armenia-EU relations, current programs and Eastern Partnership negotiations were also discussed.
Edward Nalbandian presented the efforts by Armenia and the international community to peacefully resolve the Karabakh conflict.
Norbert Lammert highly appreciated the service of Armenian peacekeepers within a German military unit in Afghanistan.
