Armenian opposition continues consultations on participation in Council of Elders elections
A meeting between representatives of Heritage, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and ARFD took place Friday evening in the building of the ARFD Supreme Body.
Heritage was represented at the meeting by Hovsep Khurshudyan and Ruben Hakobyan, Prosperous Armenia Party by Naira Zohrabyan and Vartan Oskanian, ARFD by Armen Rustamyan and Aghvan Vardanyan, Heritage spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan told Panorama.am.
“We discussed a wide range of issues related to the format of cooperation as well as the format of participation in the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders,” Khurshudyan said.
No decision has been made yet, he said. He had no answers to the questions of whether the meetings will be continued and why Armenian National Congress did not attend Friday’s meeting.
According to the Heritage spokesman, ANC and Heritage have met for two days to “discuss various issues related to cooperation,” including the format of participation in the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders.
