Gagik Minasyan: Raffi Hovannisian should present realistic programs
The pre-election period in Armenia was notable for the fact that the runner-up and the political force he represents were not leading in the political arena after the elections, member of RPA parliamentary faction and RPA Executive Body Gagik Minasyan told reporters when commenting on the domestic political developments.
“Raffi Hovannisian received a solid number of votes and much depended on the geopolitical perception of this politician as well as on the perception of the processes as part of the society’s development,” Minasyan said.
The lesson learnt from the post-election events of 2008 played a big role in the current post-election period, he said.
Commenting on the actions of Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian, Gagik Minasyan said, “Very often, the actions and prospective statements of the Heritage leader are not understandable not only for politicians representing wide circles but also for representatives of his own political team.”
“I think the representative of the political party which pretends to become number one opposition force in the country should present realistic programs,” Minasyan added.
