Heritage representative hopes for quick resolution to crisis
Hunger strike is a peaceful method of struggle, and Raffi Hovannisian’s decision to go on hunger strike was made much earlier, Heritage vice chairman Armen Martirosyan told a news conference in Liberty Square, adding that their struggle had reached a point when the people were demanding radical changes.
According to him, the authorities are in time trouble, they have lost control of the political process, and they are looking for ways to resolve the situation.
“There is a state crisis which should be resolved,” Martirosyan said.
“I hope we will not have to wait long, and a resolution will be reached soon after a meeting between the third and fourth Presidents,” he said.
