Survey: Only 1 percent of 1,066 Yerevan residents want to see Raffi Hovannisian as Yerevan Mayor
60 percent of 1,066 Yerevan residents surveyed by the Gallup International Association want to see Taron Margaryan as Yerevan Mayor, followed by Gagik Tsarukyan (17 percent), Karen Karapetyan (3 percent), Armen Rustamyan, Armen Martirosyan, Gurgen Arsenyan and Raffi Hovannisian (1 percent each). 6 percent of the respondents found it difficult to answer the question, 4 percent said they see no one on this position, 5 percent said they want another mayor.
The survey “Yerevan residents about Yerevan” was conducted between March 9 and 11. Gallup International Association Armenia director Aram Navasardyan and Head of the Research Unit Ms. Gayane Dajunts presented the results of the survey at a news conference on Thursday.
