Hraparak: Tsarukyan wants to buy Armavia
Some details have been unveiled about a recent meeting between Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan and owner of Armavia Air Company Mika Baghdasarov, Hraparak daily says.
“They discussed the sale of Armavia Air Company. Tsarukyan intends to buy it and is persuading Baghdasarov to declare the company bankrupt, after which the company will be sold. But the government is against it as the unpaid salaries will trigger protests. Therefore, they want the debts to be paid off before the company is sold,” the paper says.
