Net-Index: On Internet quality Armenia is ahead of Azerbaijan by 37 positions
Armenia is significantly ahead of Azerbaijan in internet quality. Thus Armenia is on the 81th place out of 182 countries in, and Azerbaijan is on 118th. Georgia is a leader in the region, and is on the 45th place, these are the Data of the rating of the “Net Index”, which is a project of the American company “Ookla Inc.”. Rating is designed to study the quality of the Internet around the world.
According to the index the average speed of the internet in Armenia, is 6.53 Mbit/s, in Azerbaijan it is 3.79 and in Georgia is 12.3.
In this ranking Armenia is adjacent to such states like San Marino, Italy, Serbia, while Azerbaijan to Angola, South Africa and Bahrain.
The world leaders of Internet quality are Hong Kong, Singapore, Lithuania, Andorra, and Taiwan, the rating closes Bolivia, Algeria, Benin and Uzbekistan.
