Artsakh leader meets OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs
On March 19, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Ambassadors Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France, and Ian Kelly of the United States of America).
Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Bako Sahakyan stressed that Baku continues its destructive policy, which poses a serious threat both to the peaceful process and to the maintenance of stability and peace in the entire region.
Bako Sahakyan noted that the proposal of official Stepanakert not to violate the ceasefire regime during international and religious holidays was actually ignored by Azerbaijan, and Baku still continues daily violations along the border.
The leader of Artsakh confirmed the position of Stepanakert, stressing that Artsakh is a proponent of peaceful settlement and the complete restoration of the ongoing negotiation format within the OSCE Minsk Group.
Artsakh Republic Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials attended the meeting, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
