Draft decision on setting up March 1 events committee to be discussed at parliament’s next four-day session
The draft decision on setting up an ad hoc committee for the investigation of the March 1, 2008 events will not be discussed at the current four-day session of parliament, Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan announced at today’s parliament session in reply to the question of head of ANC parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan.
“Since head of NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs David Harutyunyan is away on business, we agreed to discuss this issue at the next four-day session,” Mr Abrahamyan said.
Last week, the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs approved the draft decision submitted by ANC parliamentary faction on setting up an ad hoc committee for the investigation of the March 1, 2008 events.
