Parliament attack: Intruder’s identity established
The man who attempted to break into the Armenian parliament is Vrezh Galstyan, head of Ambulance Service Taguhi Stepanyan told Panorama.am.
Galstyan, 25, was taken to Medical University Clinical Hospital No. 1, she said.
He was wounded in the left thigh. His condition is moderately serious. The injury is not life threatening, she added.
Today, a man armed with a knife has attempted to break into the Armenian parliament, introducing himself as “Jesus Christ.” Security guards tried to prevent the man from advancing. A shot was fired into the air. But the man was moving ahead and the security guards were forced to fire at his leg. An investigation is underway.
