Moratti: No Mourinho return
Inter President Massimo Moratti admits he still talks to Jose Mourinho and is pleased by his “loyalty,” but warns “there aren’t the right conditions for a return,” according to Football Italia.
This week Real Madrid manager Mourinho fuelled speculation of a Nerazzurri comeback by declaring he could return to one of his former clubs.
Italian media and fans saw this as a move towards Inter, whereas the English papers read it as opening the door to Chelsea.
“I exchanged some courtesy text messages with Mourinho,” Moratti told journalists ahead of the Board of Directors meeting.
“Of course his loyalty and love for Inter are pleasing. There aren’t the right conditions for a return to Inter and I haven’t discussed an eventual project with him.”
