Zhoghovurd: Parliament intruder placed under medical surveillance
Vrezh Galstyan, who attempted to break into the Armenian parliament on March 22 and received a gunshot wound, is still undergoing treatment. The 25-year-old has been placed under medical surveillance, spokesperson for the Justice Ministry's Penitentiary Department, Gor Ghlechyan, told Zhoghovurd daily.
Galstyan has been arrested for two months. He has been examined by a psychiatrist who said that the man suffers from a mental illness. If experts confirm the conclusion, Galstyan is likely to be placed in a psychiatric hospital and later be exempted from serving his sentence.
