Armenian Ombudsman vows to keep control over the judiciary
Armenian Ombudsman is not empowered to intervene in court cases or give his assessment of them. But instead, the Ombudsman’s Office will keep control over the judiciary, Karen Andreasyan told a news conference in Yerevan, adding that his representative has been assigned to study the completed court cases and make conclusions.
Asked if he is filled with hostility because of the heated response of the judiciary to his Annual Report and this step is an answer to it, Andreasyan said that he feels no hostility to anyone.
