Xavi: I will be fit for Paris Saint-Germain clash
Barcelona midfielder Xavi has stressed that he will be match fit in time for the first-leg of the club's Champions League quarterfinal tie against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, Goal.com reported.
The Spain international is being plagued by a thigh injury and missed Thursday' training session due to the knock as he underwent physiotherapy.
Xavi will therefore be rested for Saturday's Liga game away against Celta, but has little doubt that he will be recovered in time for next week's encounter in Paris.
"I will not play against Celta at the weekend, but I will be ready for the game against Paris Saint-Germain," Xavi was quoted as saying by Sport.
