Shavarsh Kocharyan: It’s high time that Azerbaijan stopped unpromising policy of creating new dividing lines
It is normal that the Foreign Minister of a country, which is guided by anti-democratic ideology, does not understand that in the contemporary world, it is unwise to make friends against someone instead of making friends with someone, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told Emedia.am news website in an interview, when asked to comment on the attempt of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to represent the trilateral cooperation as a message against Armenia.
“It’s high time that Azerbaijan stopped the unpromising policy of creating new dividing lines aimed at retaining the hereditary authoritarian power,” Kocharyan added.
“Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan have built a platform for comprehensive cooperation, ensuring the development of the region, which is a message for neighboring Armenia,” Elmar Mammadyarov had said at a news conference following a meeting of the Georgian, Azerbaijani and Turkish Foreign Ministers in Batumi.
