Varane to miss Zaragoza clash
Iker Casillas and Raphäel Varane are the main players missing from Real Madrid's squad announced for Saturday's game against Real Zaragoza in La Romareda stadium, Marca.com reported.
Assistant coach Aitor Karanka had already confirmed that Casillas has still to receive "the all clear for competitive games", whilst the young French centre-half is to be rested after taking part in a number of important matches recently.
Also left out are the youngsters Morata and Nacho.
The Madrid squad is made up the following players:
Diego Lopez, Adan and Jesus (keepers).
Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa and Albiol (defence).
Khedira,Kaka, Ozil, Alonso, Essien, Modric, Callejon and Di Maria (midfield).
Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuaín (attack).
