Raffi Hovannisian’s actions are inadequate, says Republican MP
The post-election situation cannot have a negative impact on foreign political processes as the electoral process in Armenia was closely monitored by the international community, Republican MP Artak Zakaryan told a news conference on Friday.
He added that the international organizations assessed the electoral process positively.
Referring to the upcoming elections of Yerevan Council of Elders, the lawmaker said that they will be competitive and democratic.
As for the post-election movement led by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, Zakaryan said the actions of Raffi Hovannisian and his supporters are inadequate, adding that the people’s expectations from the opposition do not come true, as “only a full-fledged political force can carry out the opposition mission with honor.”
