Henrikh Mkhitaryan: The ball is round and everyone can play football
Armenia and FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan reflects on the upcoming meeting with Dynamo Kyiv.
- Just like any other meeting with Dynamo, it will be a major and uncompromising game. It’s very important for us to add another victory to our winning streak, and we'll play for Donetsk and for all our fans.

- They shouldn’t be hopeful! Despite our 16-point lead, the games versus Dynamo are always special. They are among the toughest opponents in the Ukrainian league. We are well aware of the responsibility for this match and on Sunday we will play not only for fun, but also to win it.
- Do you agree with the fact that for Dynamo this very meeting is largely decisive in the fight for the second place with other teams?
- We do not think about who will be the second, third or fourth. We are more concerned with our own victories in the remaining games. I am not going to say that we will surely win all of our fixtures, because the ball is round and everyone can play football. But in every game we will give it our all to emerge victorious.
