Armenian President, Rosneft CEO discuss bilateral economic ties
President Serzh Sargsyan met with Chief Executive of the largest Russian oil company Rosneft, Igor Sechin.
The parties discussed the possibilities of the prospective and long-term cooperation in the economic area, including cooperation in the energy field. They underscored the importance of the economic element in the continuous deepening and strengthening of the relations between the two strategic partners – the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.
Serzh Sargsyan said that the entry of Rosneft into the Armenian economy will become a strong impetus for the development of bilateral economic relations, presidential press service reported.
