Zhoghovurd: Kashuni village has 12 residents
The village of Kashuni, Syunik region, has 12 residents, Zhoghovurd daily reports.
Village Mayor Garnik Hakobyan said that there is no school in the village and that there are four school-age children in the village. Of them, two go to school in Kapan and two in Yerevan.
“The last childbirth occurred in our village three or four years ago,” Hakobyan said, adding that the villagers live on pension and aid from their relatives.
“The only thing which is good is that we have no water problem,” he added.
