Man dies in Azerbaijan during event dedicated to 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev; holiday, however, is not canceled
Yesterday, in the center of culture of the Azerbaijani Sabirabad city, at the event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev electrician providing power supply died, the Azerbaijani news agency "Haqqin.az" reported.
As the article says, immediately after the event started, with the participation of the Chief Executive and other senior district officials, the electrician was hit by electric current, as a result of which he died.
"The incident plunged the attendees into shock. Participants of the event were expecting that it will be canceled in connection with the incident. However, news was received which plunged everyone into shock for the second time: the district administration ordered to continue the celebration, and the body of the dead was removed from the scene," the site writes.
According to "Haqqin.az," residents of the area, including the presents, were outraged by such an indifference of leadership.
