Political analyst: Raffi Hovannisian acted as a situational leader
Only one inauguration was held in the country, while the other one was just an event involving a defeated presidential candidate, political analyst Alexander Markarov told reporters on Thursday.
According to him, currently the opposition political forces are “returning to normal condition” and during Yerevan elections, on May 5, they have to show their voters and rivals that they exist and represent certain force.
Asked about the political career of Raffi Hovannisian, the political analyst said that it will continue, and that “not only Raffi Hovannisian but also Heritage party has certain electorate which is ready to continue supporting him.”
Raffi Hovannisian acted as a situational leader in the period from mid-December to mid-February, Markarov concluded.
