Sociologist: PAP, Orinats Yerkir, ARFD will restore electorates
The share of Heritage party’s supporters decreased by 30 percent after April 9, and now only 7-8 percent of Yerevan residents will support this party, head of Sociometer center Aharon Adibekyan told reporters on Friday.
According to him, Heritage party will “lose” votes not only because the people are disappointed with Raffi Hovannisian but also because Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Orinats Yerkir Party and ARFD have returned to active politics.
“These three parties can restore their electorates at Yerevan elections,” said the sociologist.
Armenian National Congress (ANC) has weaker positions because it recently underwent serious transformation and narrowed its ideology to that of the old Armenian National Movement, Adibekyan said.
