Police Day marked in Artsakh
On April 16, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan attended a solemn event to mark Police Day.
President Sahakyan congratulated the policemen and veterans of the system, handed in state awards and conferred titles on a group of people.
In his remarks, the President stressed the importance of police in Artsakh’s state building process, noting that lawfulness, public order and rule, security and stability, the interests of the citizens and human rights are maintained in the republic also with the active participation of police.
Bako Sahakyan stressed that the problems faced by police are and will remain at the spotlight of the state, and that the authorities will do everything possible to improve working and social conditions of policemen, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
