Hovhannes Tokmajyan: It’s wrong to blame RPA for everything
Our political elections ended on February 18 and we finally completed them on April 9. Municipal elections naturally have a political implication, and they are also very important from the point of view of the 2017 parliamentary elections, but, of course, Yerevan’s development is our priority task, Hovhannes Tokmajyan, number three candidate in RPA list for Yerevan elections, told a news conference on Tuesday.
The speaker noted that increasing green zones in the capital is among the program provisions of almost all political forces, but he attaches importance to this problem not only from the point of view of health, but also from the point of view of ecology.
Tokmajyan said he sees the current problems faced by Yerevan and knows how to solve them. He expressed the hope that he will be elected to Yerevan Council of Elders, meanwhile noting that the problems of Yerevan, the Mayor of which is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, should not be only linked to the party.
“Each of the parties has its share of responsibility in every process and it is wrong to blame RPA for everything,” he added.
